No, all you need to do is apply two coats of prep coat, followed by two to three coats of limewash.

No, exterior walls are usually untreated and they tend to contain many tiny holes, so you’d need a 1:1 ratio for the prep coat and limewash. Whereas for interior walls, we recommend using half the volume of limewash for prep coat.

Our clear top coat is only recommended for internal application. For exterior use, top coats are optional, and 2–3 days of good weather will allow the surface to harden enough to prevent washout before drying. Or there's many weathershield clear coats are in the market to try out.
