Mineral Prep / Base Coat For Limewash (Matt Finish)

Mineral Bond Prep Coat is specially formulated to provide optimal adhesion and surface uniformity for lime-based paints. 

2 L of prep-coat is sufficient for 2.5 L of limewash

Whether you’re applying limewash to previously painted walls, plaster, or rendered surfaces, this breathable primer improves durability, reduces patchiness, and ensures a smoother application. Please note that walls must be primed before using the prep coat, unless they are lime-rendered.

Application Guide: 

Use a roller or a paint brush to apply. 

Make sure the surface has a white matte finish (such as matte paint, primer-applied walls, or plasterboard which are matte primed) before applying the mineral primer. This is a natural paint and will not adhere properly to glossy, satin, cement, or rubber-painted surfaces, as it does not contain petroleum-based products like standard emulsion paint.
